These volunteers assist projectionists, keeping an eye on run times and films as they are being screened. They also monitor sound levels, makes sure films are ready to go, are knowledgeable about equipment, etc. May also be required to make sure each film is at the proper location. These volunteers have the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of movie theater projection.

Print trafficking assistants work as runners and, possibly, projectionists. They need to be tech savvy. They may transport Digibeta decks to different venues, as well as prints to FedEx or different theaters. Truck-owners are preferred although this is not a requirement. They are responsible for making sure each film is at the appropriate theater. These volunteers are needed before, during, and after the festival.

Special Event Production Set-up/Breakdown

Some set-up will occur before the festival begins. People with trucks a plus! Hours could run late into the evening.

Special Event Greeters
At the special events and parties, greeters will be stationed at every entrance and exit. Greeters need very good people skills. They will welcome participants, help make sure food and drink is available, keep the party site presentable, and may need to help with over-enthusiastic guests.

Visiting Filmmakers Hospitality/Drivers
Must be 25 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record to serve as ambassadors of Wichita and the festival to visiting filmmakers.
